
Beginning from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday throughout February, the Cleveland Cavaliers are proud to host their 6th annual Black Heritage Celebration (BHC), presented by State Farm. The 2010 BHC is highlighted by three special Cavalier home games featuring events and programs for each game that pay tribute African-American culture and achievement in recognition of Black History Month and a free concert at Cleveland’s largest African-American church, “THE WORD” Church.

- MLB Hall of Famer and Cleveland Indians Legend, Jim “Mudcat” Grant
- NFL and Ohio State Legend and Troy native, Cris Carter
- Former NBA Player, Ohio State Legend and Toledo native, Jimmy Jackson

in partnership with Cleveland’s “THE WORD” Church
“Saturday Night Live Service” - Saturday, February 27th @ 8:00 p.m.
The Cavaliers, in partnership with “The WORD” Church,” under the spiritual leadership of Founder and Senior Pastor R. A. Vernon, will host Gospel Night as part of their "Saturday Night Live" service and a FREE gospel concert featuring
nationally renowned gospel recording legend CeCe Winans after the service.
