
Bobcats Center DeSagana Diop Undergoes Successful Surgery

Bobcats center DeSagana Diop today underwent successful surgery to repair his ruptured right Achilles tendon. The surgery was performed by Dr. Bob Anderson at Presbyterian Orthopaedic Hospital in Charlotte.
Diop, who suffered the injury during the second quarter of the team’s Dec. 31 game against Golden State, will have his right foot immobilized for two weeks before beginning rehabilitation. A complete recovery is expected in 9-12 months.
