Cool School Art and Essay Contest Winners
As part of a season-long commitment to literacy and education, the Charlotte Bobcats conducted the Cool School Art and Essay Contest among schools in North and South Carolina. Students in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades were asked to either create a scene depicting teamwork or write an essay with the theme being, If you could do one thing to change your community, what would you do?
The winners of the contest all received cash prizes and a pair of suite tickets to see the Bobcats take on the Sacramento Kings. They also received a meet-and-greet with a Bobcats player, on-court recognition at the game and a Bobcats fan pack that included an Emeka Okafor autographed item.
Congratulations to all of the winners!
